There will be a game at every E3 where developers will try and pull the wild card that nobody was expecting or a brand new IP. This year Bethesda opened their conference with the Quake wildcard, and then later they did not announce a new IP but rather a re-imagining of an existing IP with Prey.
The game looks to be a much more psychological thriller than the run of the mill FPS title. The game will be interesting hopefully and we look forward to finding out more at this years Quakecon where the developers will release more information on the game.
