While we patiently await the arrival of Sega’s next Crazy Taxi game, Current Games is wasting no time in hitting the road with their variation. The company announced today that Taxi Chaos 2 will arrive on PC and consoles in winter 2025, bringing all sorts of on-the-road mayhem with it.
A sequel to the 2021 cult hit, Taxi Chaos 2 is “even more fun and challenging” with its play experience.
A cornucopia of cab chaos, Taxi Chaos 2 is a high-octane, non-stop, adrenaline-fueled Arcade Taxi Racer, set in the vibrant streets of San Valeda, with shifting traffic, unpredictable road conditions and global calamities, making every shift feel fresh. You play as Vinny, a veteran of the game, older, rougher and returning to the streets, but undoubtedly still the best cabbie the city has ever seen.
San Valeda is not the utopia it once was, having been overrun by a legion of automated TaxiBots! Together, Vinny and Cleo return to the streets once again, and take up the fight to prove that humans still have the winning edge!
The automated TaxiBots control the city and will do whatever it takes to put an end to the old ways, from blocking your routes to stealing passengers and even ramming you off the road to try and shut you down.
